This is a royal purple formal dress in soft, rich velvet. The off shoulder strapless style is elegant with a split skirt and small train. Simply beautiful! The bodice has a shelf bust, fitted waist and faux wrap skirt that splits to the hip and has a small train in the back. The skirt is interfaced to hold its shape. The bodice has underpinnings, lightly boned longline bra style, that zip up the back with a metal zipper. The left side of the dress has 3 decorative bows.
There is some minor pressing to the velvet at the front of waist, it is not crushed. There is a small hole in the velvet where the skirt splits, 9" below the last bow, likely where she pinned it closed in an effort to be more modest. This is not obvious and does not detract from the overall look or wearability of the dress.
